Dustin Rhodes Announces 2023 Will Be His Last Year Wrestling

2023 will be a major year in Dustin Rhodes‘ career.

During the Blizzard Brawl tapings for Great Lakes Championship Wrestling on December 3, Rhodes announced that 2023 will be last year wrestling. Rhodes, 53, debuted in 1988, and he competed for WCW and WWF, among other promotions, in the early stages of his career. He had a legendary run as Goldust in WWE. He later worked for TNA and returned to WWE before he signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019.

Since then, Rhodes has remained with AEW, and while he still occasionally wrestles, he also works as a coach for the company. In his most recent match, he unsuccessfully challenged Claudio Castagnoli for the ROH World Championship on the August 26 episode of AEW Rampage. Outside of AEW, Rhodes also trains students at the Rhodes Wrestling Academy.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
