Becky Lynch went “big time” with her role as Cyndi Lauper in Young Rock, but she also filmed for a major spot that ultimately didn’t get used.
The former WWE RAW Women’s Champion recently returned to WWE after she missed a few months with a separated shoulder during her match at WWE SummerSlam. She scored the victory for her team at WWE Survivor Series on November 26.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that Lynch, who made her film debut in The Marine 6, Lynch filmed for a post-credit scene of Marvel Studios‘ Eternals, but the scenes were left “on the cutting room floor.” The scene would have set up a future installment, but Lynch’s role was not disclosed. Sapp cited sources who indicated that Lynch being used in future Marvel movie is not out of the question, as they were happy with her performance. Sapp cited one source who stated that the post-credits scene was “too depressing”, but additional context was not provided.
Lynch previously confirmed that she had talks with the company, but she didn’t say that she had filmed for a movie.
