WWE SmackDown Viewership Drops On 11/25, Demo Rating Also Down

WWE SmackDown viewership dropped ahead of WWE Survivor Series.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 2.166 million viewers watched the show on November 25. This number is down from last week, when 2.232 million viewers tuned in.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.54 rating, which is also down from last week’s show (a 0.56 rating in the same demographic). Thurston noted that SmackDown ranked #6 in the demographic, per Showbuzz Daily. College football games and How The Grinch Stole Christmas dominated TV on Friday night.

This week’s episode was the go-home show ahead of WWE Survivor Series. It featured the semifinals of the SmackDown World Cup; Santos Escobar battled Butch, and Ricochet took on Braun Strowman. In the main event, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus faced The Usos in a match where the WarGames Advantage was on the line.
