Chris Jericho will defend the ROH World Championship at ROH Final Battle.
On the November 25 episode of AEW Rampage, Claudio Castagnoli challenged Jericho to a title match. “The Ocho” initially rejected him and claimed that Castagnoli had nothing to offer him. But when “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard pitched the stipulation that Castagnoli would have to join the Jericho Appreciation Society if he lost, Jericho approved. Castagnoli accepted the terms, and the match was confirmed for the pay-per-view on December 10.

Jericho beat Castagnoli to win the title on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam on September 21. He recently retained the gold by defeating Castagnoli, Bryan Danielson, and Sammy Guevara in a four-way match at AEW Full Gear.
