Rumor Killer On Next Year’s WWE Money In The Bank Winner

The 2023 WWE Money in the Bank winners have not yet been decided.

A recent rumor making the rounds on social media this week stated that the WWE Money in the Bank premium live event would be canceled in order to move those matches to WrestleMania instead. Furthermore, it was said that SmackDown Superstar LA Knight was scheduled to win the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match in 2023.

According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), people that he’s spoken with in WWE stated while nothing is impossible in terms of the match being moved to WrestleMania, nothing has “come across their desks as of yet.”

But in regards to LA Knight being penciled in to win the briefcase next year, that was shot down, with one WWE source taking exception to that. Stating the following:

“I like LA Knight, but we don’t even have definitive plans across the board for months down the line, much less next year’s Money in the Bank. If we wanted it on him so bad, it wouldn’t have been hard to take Theory’s to put on him. I’ve never heard him discussed in the same conversation as Money in the Bank. Not that it couldn’t happen, because he’s a great performer, but it’s not been discussed.”

LA Knight is currently involved in a storyline with Bray Wyatt on WWE SmackDown.
