AEW Dynamite Results (11/23/22): Full Gear Fallout, ROH World Title Match, And More

Best of Seven Series – Match Two: The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) vs. Death Triangle (Penta El Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix, and PAC) 

The match quickly breaks down into a brawl. The Elite take control. The brawl spills out of the ring, and Nick takes Penta down with a hurricanrana. Fenix hits a corkscrew dive to the outside as the champions gain the upper hand. PAC and Omega feel each other out. Omega hits PAC in the face, and it rocks “The Bastard”, who’s dealing with a broken nose. Matt Jackson dives onto the Lucha Brothers at ringside. Omega grounds PAC. The Elite isolate the former AEW All-Atlantic Champion for several minutes. PAC rallies by reversing a triple-team move and sending Omega face-first into the Bucks’ boots. Omega bites PAC’s arm, but Penta tags in and clears house with a flurry of offense. Fenix tags in and takes the fight to the Bucks. Fenix drills Matt with a superkick. Omega hits a V-Trigger and a snap dragon suplex on PAC. The Elite take control again and hit stereo superkicks for a two count. Nick dives onto Fenix and Penta at ringside. Omega drills PAC with the V-Trigger. PAC reverses the One-Winged Angel and gets a two count with a GTS.

Fenix dives onto Nick and Omega at ringside. Matt kicks PAC below the belt when the referee isn’t looking. Nick gets the ring bell hammer, but Penta blasts him with a hammer. PAC pins him for the win.

WinnersDeath Triangle (Penta El Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix, and PAC) 

Renee Paquette announces that AEW has asked Thunder Rosa to forfeit the AEW Women’s Champion, and the “interim” has been dropped from Jamie Hayter’s AEW Interim Women’s World Championship. Britt Baker answers for Hayter when she’s asked how she feels. Baker hypes up Hayter and says they never considered the word “interim”.

Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker vs. Anna Jay A.S & Tay Melo vs. Willow Nightingale and Skye Blue

Jay and Melo control the action. Willow makes a hot tag and drills Jay A.S. with a big boot. She slams Anna and dumps Blue onto her with an assisted splash. Jay A.S. sends Willow to the outside. Melo slams her into the barricade. Jay A.S. takes control. Willow keeps fighting, but the JAS duo gains the upper hand again. Blue tags in and gains momentum with a flurry of offense. Baker tags in, and Willow slams her. The match breaks down into chaos as bodies are flying. Blue and Melo kick each other. Blue hits a Code Blue. Hayter hits a back-breaker. Baker pins Blue with a stomp.

Winner: Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter

Backstage, FTR speak highly of Top Flight. Darius and Dante Martin challenge them to a title match on Rampage.

The Acclaimed rap about AEW Full Gear. Billy Gunn takes the medical bandages off his hands, and the trio is about to scissor, but Jay Lethal interrupts, alongside Sonjay Dutt, Satnam Singh, and Jeff Jarrett. The legend says The Acclaimed should be watching their backs. Billy Gunn gets the video screen turned off and scissors Bowens and Caster.

ROH World Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Tomohiro Ishii

Jericho and Ishii trade blows, and the challenger wins the exchange. Jericho leaves the ring. He gets back in the squared circle and keeps trading blows with Ishii. The challenger continues to control the action, but Jericho stands right with him as they keep hitting each other. Jericho is bleeding, seemingly from the chest. Ishii destroys Jericho’s chest with a barrage of chops. Jericho won’t go down, as he keeps hitting Ishii. His chest is a bloody mess. Jericho gains the upper hand and punches Ishii in the corner. Ishii gets a two count with a powerbomb. Jericho rallies, but Ishii drops him with an elbow strike. Ishii dumps Jericho with a German suplex. Jericho fires back with two of his own. A Codebreaker earns Jericho a two count. Ishii floors Jericho with a headbutt and gets a two count with a sliding lariat. Jericho locks in the Walls and transitions to the Lion-Tamer. Ishii taps out.

Winner and still ROH World Champion: Chris Jericho

Jericho confronts broadcaster Ian Riccaboni, but Claudio Castagnoli with a right hand.
