Following off her title win over Mayu Iwatani at NJPW x STARDOM Historic X-Over, KAIRI will defend the IWGP Women’s Championship against Tam Nakano at the event on January 4. This will mark the first time the title is defended at Wrestle Kingdom, as KAIRI is the inaugural champion.
Also, Will Ospreay will officially defend the IWGP United States Championship against Kenny Omega after the AEW star appeared on the video screen at NJPW x STARDOM Historic X-Over and challenged Ospreay to a match.
