A new X-Division Champion was crowned at IMPACT Over Drive.
After Frankie Kazarian exercised Option C to challenge for the IMPACT World title, an eight-man tournament was held recently to determine a new X-Division Champion. The tournament finals took place at Over Drive with Trey Miguel battling Black Taurus. Despite competing in several multi-person matches before, this marked the first time the two had gone one-on-one.
At the end of their hard-fought battle, Miguel turned heel when he blinded Taurus with a can of spray paint. Miguel connected with Lightning Spiral and pinned Taurus to win the vacant title. This marks Miguel’s second X-Division title reign after he previously held it from Bound For Glory 2021 to Rebellion earlier this year in April.
