AEW Rampage Results (11/18/22): Lance Archer Takes On Ricky Starks

All Elite Wrestling will deliver an action-packed episode of AEW Rampage on November 18.

Tonight’s show, which is the show before AEW’s Full Gear on Saturday, is set to feature a few big matches, including Eddie Kingston & Ortiz teaming up to take on Jun Akiyama and Konosuke Takeshita, Athena taking on Madison Rayne, and more.

The results are as follows:

Match 1: Ricky Starks defeats Lance Archer via pinfall

In an opening match AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament bout, Starks advanced in the tournament thanks to some quick thinking late in the match. After getting hit with a lariat for a near fall, Starks was able to avoid some punches from Archer, and then bounced off the ropes and hit a huge spear before rolling up his opponent for the win.

Match 2: HOOK defeats Lee Moriarty via pinfall

In an FTW Championship match, the reigning champ HOOK continued his hot streak, taking down Moriarty early and often in the bout.

Although Lee looked to gain some momentum late, it was HOOK would come out with the win after breaking out of a late submission attempt and countered it into a Redrum for the win.

Match 3: Athena defeats Madison Rayne via pinfall

This one was relatively quick, and saw Athena come out extremely aggressive from the very start. After laying into Rayne throughout the match, she finally ended things with an incredible flipping stunner for the win.

Following the match, Athena continued her assault on Rayne, forcing a referee to intervene, who was then also attacked by Athena. Things finally cooled down after Mercedes Martinez appeared to chase off Athena.

Match 4: Jun Akiyama & Konosuke Takeshita defeat Eddie Kingston & Ortiz via pinfall

In the closing match of the night, Akiyama and Takeshita put on a show in a victorious bout. After an incredible back-and-forth match, things eventually came down to all four men going down after Kingston hit Takeshita with a backdrop driver. Shortly after, Kingston and Akiyama got up and began trading punches, before Akiyama knocked him out with a knee to the face.

As the match continued to wind down, Akiyama then hit a running knee to the back of Ortiz, dropping him and allowing Akiyama to hit an exploder on him for the win.
