Men’s WarGames Match Announced For WWE Survivor Series

The Bloodline will go to war at WWE Survivor Series.

On the November 11 episode of WWE SmackDown, The Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland and Butch) came to the stage, ready to fight with the powerful faction. They brought Sheamus out with them, as “The Celtic Warrior” had been sidelined for a few weeks since The Bloodline laid him out with an attack. Drew McIntyre joined forces with the group to fight Roman Reigns and his stablemates.

The following week, Sheamus, McIntyre, Holland, and Butch opened the show. “The Celtic Warrior” noted that he and McIntyre have clashed plenty of times over the years, but these battles have forged a mutual respect. He then asked McIntyre to join their team and face The Bloodline in a WarGames Match, shortly after WWE confirmed the bout with an on-screen graphic. McIntyre accepted, saying that there’s no one he’d rather go to war with than his brother.

McIntyre wondered who the fifth and final member of the team would be, but Sami Zayn interrupted. He stated that it didn’t matter, as The Bloodline is feeling “ucey”.” So ucey, in fact, that he guaranteed a victory for The Bloodline. Sheamus countered by stating that the fifth member will be the last person Zayn would suspect.

Later in the show, Butch defeated Zayn to advance to the next round of the SmackDown World Cup. After the bell, The Bloodline, including Reigns, brawled with McIntyre and his teammates. Kevin Owens joined the fight, seemingly revealing himself as the fifth member of the Brawling Brutes’ team, and he hit Reigns with a Stunner.
