IMPACT Over Drive Results – November 18, 2022: Josh Alexander Defends Against Frankie Kazarian

IMPACT Over Drive Results – November 18, 2022

IMPACT Over Drive kicked off with a hype package for tonight’s show featuring some of the top matches scheduled for this evening.

Bully Ray defeated Moose in a Tables Match

  • Bully Ray went through a table earlier in the matchup, but he put himself through it when Moose got out of the way, so the match continued on. In the end, Bully Ray speared Moose through the table to pick up the win.

The wife of Frankie Kazarian and former IMPACT Wrestling Knockout Traci Brooks was interviewed via satellite to hype up tonight’s main event.

The Death Dollz (Taya Valkyrie and Jessicka) defeated Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans to retain the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Titles

  • Jessicka hit the Sick Driver on Steelz to score the pinfall win for her team.

Backstage The Motor City Machine Guns and The Bullet Club (Ace Austin and Chris Bey) are talking about the match they had on the countdown show. They are interrupted by Matt Cardona and Brian Myers, who remind them that they will be the champions after they defeat Rhino and Heath later on tonight.

Mickie James defeated Taylor Wilde

  • Mickie James hit the Mick-DT on Taylor Wilde to score the pinfall victory.

Deonna Purrazzo interrupted Mickie James’ celebration and said Mickie was not here to better the Knockouts division; she was there to better herself. Purrazzo said she’s seen it from her since day one when she returned to IMPACT and ended her title reign. The Virtuosa said James was hell-bent on ruining her career, but she’s going to end James’ career instead. This seemingly appears to be James’ next big challenge in her Last Rodeo.

Heath and Rhino defeated The Major Players (Matt Cardona and Brian Myers) to retain the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles

  • The Major Players were in firm control of the match, but The Motor City Machine Guns came to ringside chairs to watch the match up close. This turned the tide of the match as Cardona got involved with the Motor City Machine Guns as he tried to cheat with Sabin’s chair. This allowed Rhino to hit Brian Myers with the Gore for the win.

Bully Ray is interviewed backstage, he said he should be back at his hotel room right now, but he’s going to stay instead in the locker room to watch the main event between Josh Alexander and Frankie Kazarian. Bully Ray once again says he’s going to utilize his Call Your Shot Trophy the right way, whether anyone believes him or not.

Trey Miguel defeated Black Taurus to become the new IMPACT X-Division Champion

  • Trey Miguel seemingly turned heel as he cheated to defeat Black Taurus by blinding him with a can of spray paint before hitting him with the Lightning Spiral to win the championship.

Jordynne Grace defeated Masha Slamovich in a Last Knockout Standing match to retain the IMPACT Knockouts Championship

  • Jordynne Grace hit a Juggernaut Muscle Buster on Masha Slamovich through a door at ringside. Slamovich was unable to answer the count of ten, and Grace retained her title.

Josh Alexander defeated Frankie Kazarian to retain the IMPACT World Championship

  • Josh Alexander hit the C4 Spike on Frankie Kazarian to retain the championship in a very long match.

Kazarian was very upset after the match but eventually shook Alexander’s hand. After Kazarian leaves, Bully Ray comes out and gets a microphone, and puts over the main event. He said the crowd should give the match a standing ovation. Bully Ray calls his shot and said he’s cashing in his trophy at Hard To Kill in January.

Bully Ray then attacks Josh Alexander from behind with a steel chair at ringside in front of his wife. He then zip-tied Alexander to the bottom rope and asked why he would ever trust him. He then grabs Alexander’s wife and pulls her over the barricade. Alexander gets out of the zip-tie, and Bully threatens to piledrive her if he moved. Eventually, Ray tosses Alexander’s wife to him and walks away as Over Drive goes off the air.
