Four Interesting Trademark Filings Possibly Hint At Mercedes Varnado’s Future

Has former WWE Superstar Sasha Banks (Mercedes Varnado) just dropped a big hint about her future in the world of professional wrestling?

With the Women’s WarGames teams filling up in a hurry last night on WWE RAW, several fans began to lose hope about seeing The Boss return in Boston later this month at Survivor Series. But this doesn’t mean that Varnado has wrestled her last match.

Soulnado Inc., recently filed for four different trademarks with the USPTO, including:

  • Mercedes Mone’
  • Mone’ Talks

Soulnado, Inc. was created in August of this year and the trademark filings were handled by wrestling’s “Gimmick Attorney” Michael Dockins. The name could be a reference to Sasha Banks’ given name Mercedes Varnado, but it’s also a reference to the Mortal Kombat universe. In the games, a Soulnado (a portmanteau of soul and tornado) is a “bright green swirling tornado of immense spiritual energy, and of tortured spirits trapped between the Realms.”

Earlier this month, the former Sasha Banks spoke to her fans on her Instagram Stories, where she teased that something big was coming this month. Stating:

“..The date is coming that I have been waiting for, for the past six months, and I can’t wait,” said Banks. “But I am really gonna make most of this November to make all my dreams happen in preparation for this date that I’ve been waiting for. I’m very excited, and I hope you guys come along for this journey. I just want to let you know there’s going to be something so f****** crazy coming.”

With November halfway completed, speculation of Varnado’s next move will be at an all-time high for the next several days as we head into AEW Full Gear this Saturday.
