Logan Paul Reflects On WWE Crown Jewel Match, Says His Podcast Co-Hosts Took Physicals Beforehand

Logan Paul discusses his match at WWE Crown Jewel.

At the premium live event on November 5, Paul challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. The social media megastar’s podcast co-hosts, Mike Majlak and George Janko, got involved during the bout, as The Usos attacked them at ringside. In the end, “The Tribal Chief” scored the win despite an impressive performance from Paul.

Speaking on his podcast, IMPAULSIVE, Paul briefly commented on the experience and credited Reigns as a tough competitor.

“So check it out. We just came back from Saudi Arabia, WWW Crown Jewel,” Paul said. “I faced Roman Reigns, the face of the WWE for the title, the Undisputed Universal Championship. It was a hell of a match. The guy’s tough.”

Majlak and Janko, were visibly banged up after they got involved in the match, but Paul made it clear that they weren’t actually hurt. He stated that they got physicals in order to get cleared by WWE.

“They got dragged over the barrier,” Paul said. “It’s because they handed the phone that I filmed myself frog splashing Roman through the table. Honestly, bro, I’ll take that L on the chin because I don’t care. That video was f—- awesome…. Disclaimer, these guys didn’t actually break their necks or legs. The WWE made them do physicals and all the tests necessary to get them cleared to participate in the match in Saudi Arabia. The loss still hurts, but we thought this would be a funny gig, but we do want to say that they’re absolutely fine. The WWE does take care of their athletes.”

After the match, Paul announced that he hurt his knee. More information is available here.
