R-Truth confirms that he has been sidelined with an injury.
On the November 1 episode of WWE NXT, Truth seemingly got hurt during his match against Grayson Waller; he landed awkwardly when he dove outside of the ring. The referee stopped the bout, and officials helped him to the back.
In a tweet on November 8, R-Truth stated that he tore his quad tendon, and he’s having surgery.
“Hey, hey, hey. What’s up? First off, I want to thank each and every one of y’all for y’all concerns and your get-wells, your prayers, your support,” Truth said. “Yes, unfortunately yeah, I got hurt. I did tear my quad tendon, and I’m at the surgery now as we speak. It is what it is, right? You guys know I’ll be back. I wanna you. Without you, there ain’t no me. I’ll be back before y’all know it.”
