This week’s episode opened with a promo between The Bloodline and The New Day, which was interrupted by Matt Riddle and led to a six-man tag team match. The main event saw Austin Theory cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase against Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the WWE United States Championship after Rollins was brutally attacked by Bobby Lashley. Rollins went on to retain his championship thanks to an assist from Lashley, who returned to ringside to take out Theory as well.
