In-Ring Segment: Seth “Freakin” Rollins
Rollins says they will try this again. It’s time for his open challenge. It’s also his 10-year anniversary in WWE. It’s been too long since he’s held gold. He’s made the United States Championship THE championship. Rollins calls out his challenger. Mustafa Ali appears on the ‘tron and says he’s going to accept Rollins’ challenge. Someone attacks Ali from behind. It’s Bobby Lashley. Lashley says the only reason he isn’t champion is because Brock Lesnar. He wants his belt back. Ali gets to his feet and attacks Lashley. Lashley tosses Ali into a bunch of equipment cases. Rollins doesn’t look pleased.
United States Championship Match: Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) vs. Bobby Lashley
Lashley attacks Rollins before the bell rings. Lashley tosses Rollins all over the ring. Rollins surprises Lashley with a superkick as he charges in. Referees and officials run down to ringside. Lashley drives Rollins into the ring post. Lashley spinebusters Rollins through the commentary desk. Lashley eventually walks away. As Lashley is walking up the ramp, Austin Theory walks out on the stage.
No contest
After the break, Theory gives the referee the MITB briefcase. The referee calls for the bell.
United States Championship Match: Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) vs. Austin Theory
Theory is all over Rollins. Rollins fires up and tries a Pedigree. Theory reveres it into one of his own. Theory tries his rolling dropkick, but Rollins reverses it into a powerbomb. Rollins tries the Stomp, but Theory turns it into the A Town Down. As Theory pins Rollins, Lashley pulls him out of the ring. Lashley drives Theory into the ringsteps over and over again. Hurt Lock by Lashley. Theory rolls back in the ring to break the count. Rollins stomps Theory and pins him.
