Report: Josh Woods Signs Multi-Year Deal With AEW

It appears weekly Ring of Honor television is getting closer than ever as Tony Khan has reportedly signed Josh Woods to a multi-year deal.

According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), former Ring of Honor Pure Champion Josh Woods has signed a multi-year, full-time contract with All Elite Wrestling. The deal is reportedly for three years, and it’s currently uncertain of when it was signed.

While Josh Woods has a short stint with WWE NXT, he’s best known for his work in Ring of Honor. At the conclusion of Final Battle 2021, Woods was the holder of the Ring of Honor Pure Championship. Woods eventually dropped the Pure Championship to Wheeler Yuta at Supercard of Honor earlier this summer.

Woods and Nese have been used frequently on All Elite Wrestling programming as of late as The Varisty Athletes. While it’s currently unknown where he’ll land at this time, most fans believe Woods has been signed for the Ring of Honor brand.
