Arianna Grace shares an update after surgery to repair a knee injury.
On October 13th, NXT Superstar Arianna Grace revealed she sustained an injury that would require surgery. She last competed in a tag team match at the October 4th tapings of NXT Level Up, which aired the following Friday.
“Hey you guys!!!! Sadly, I’m injured and will have surgery next week. I’m going to do all I can to recover properly and come back stronger so I can get back to doing what I love, performing for all of YOU! I can’t wait to get back in the ring,” Grace announced on Twitter.
Grace later thanked the fans and wrestling community for their support and well wishes following her announcement. Upon her initial statement, the extent of her injury was unclear. However, Grace later revealed her surgery would target an injury surrounding her torn ACL and meniscus in her knee, per her TikTok.
Grace revealed in another TikTok video she would miss in-ring action for nine months.
“The Iron Princess” followed up on Thursday to share that she underwent successful surgery this past Tuesday. “Hey guys, surgery went well. Now is the hard part. Really difficult to move or even use my crutches without excruciating pain. Hoping it gets better soon,” Grace wrote via Twitter.
Arianna Grace reported to the WWE Performance Center earlier this year following a tryout last December. She went on to compete in the inaugural NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, falling short to Nikkita Lyons in the opening round. Most recently, Grace aligned with fellow NXT superstar Kiana James.
Before joining WWE, Grace competed in the inaugural NWA Empowerrr pay-per-view last year, under her real name, Bianca Carelli.
