WWE NXT Viewership Drops On 10/18, Demo Rating Rises

WWE NXT viewership dropped on October 18.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 676,000 viewers tuned in on Tuesday night.

These numbers are down from last week, when 737,000 viewers tuned in, giving NXT its highest total viewership since October 2021.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, NXT scored a 0.18 rating which is up from last week (0.15). NXT ranked #12 among cable originals in the demographic. Thurston noted that NXT drewits highest demographic rating since August 16 despite competition from AEW, NBA, MLB, and NHL.

This week’s episode was the go-home show for the Halloween Havoc premium live event on October 22. Several main roster stars appeared on Tuesday night. Former RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley faced Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade battled Raquel Rodriguez. Plus, the O.C. (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) teamed up with Cameron Grimes to face The Schism (Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler, and Jagger Reid). At the end of the night, Kevin Owens hosted the KO Show with NXT Champion Bron Breakker, Ilja Dragunov, and JD McDonagh.

NXT aired head-to-head with AEW Dynamite on Tuesday; Dynamite was moved out of its typical slot on Wednesday due to coverage of the MLB playoffs. 752,000 viewers watched AEW Dynamite, and the show scored a 0.26 rating.
