NWA Powerrr Results (10/18): Trevor Murdoch vs. Matt Taven

NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Trevor Murdoch battled Matt Taven in a non-title match on the October 18 episode of NWA Powerrr.

Plus, EC3 faced Mercurio, Kerry Morton clashed with Joe Alonzo, and Angelina Love competed on the show.

The results are as follows:

Non-Title: Trevor Murdoch def. Matt Taven
Velvet Sky announces that Tim Storm is unable to accept the title shot she gave him. She gives it to Angelina Love, who wants to earn the opportunity in her match tonight.
The Spectaculars (Brady Pierce, Rush Freeman, and Rolando Freeman) are backstage. Rolando Freeman notes that he should be in contention for the world title, given his victories over Matt Cardona. Tyrus interrupts, and Rolando threatens to whoop his ass. Tyrus grabs him by the throat, and The Spectaculars escape. BLK Jeez stops Tyrus from saying something else. He says Tyrus would be the champion if he listened to him. Tyrus grabs Jeez, lets him go, and walks away.
In an interview, AJ Cazana discusses the lineage of the NWA World Television Championship and says he’s cut from the same cloth as the previous champions. He says the title needs to be around his waist.
Question Mark (with Aron Stevens) def. Kratos
- At the end of the match, Stevens hits Kratos with a loaded glove and seemingly knocked him out.
Backstage, the Dirty Sexy Boys (JTG and Dirty Dango) discuss their upcoming non-title match against La Rebelión on NWA USA. Dango gets confused because he thought it was a title match. Dango says that when he makes love, it’s always a title match, and everybody wins.
Championship Series Title Opportunity Match: Chelsea Green def. Angelina Love to earn a future championship.
Kyle Davis announces that Pretty Empowered will defend the NWA Women’s Tag Team Championship against Madi and Missa Kate at NWA Hard Times 3.
Kerry Morton def. Joe Alonzo
In an interview, Jordan Clearwater discusses his “golden” opportunity to win the NWA Television Championship on NWA USA and vows to make history by winning the gold.
EC3 def. Mercurio
EC3 goes to the podium and discusses his match with Thom Latimer at NWA Hard Times 3. He dares Latimer to attack him. EC3 calls Kamille a better champion than Latimer will ever be. He says Latimer is learning to bypass the cliches of the industry, but as far as Hard Times is concerned, they will fight. EC3 says Latimer will become Control Your Narrative.
