Alex Windsor And Charlie Morgan Make History In Dubai, Liv Morgan Takes A Stab At ‘Chucky’

Alex Windsor and Charlie Morgan made history in the Middle East. Liv Morgan will guest star in ‘Chucky’. ODB releases her autobiography, and more! Let’s break it down in this week’s edition of Women’s Wrestling Wrap-Up!

Alex Windsor & Charlie Morgan Make History In Dubai

On October 15th, Charlie Morgan and Alex Windsor made history in Dubai. Competing at Wrestlefest DXB, the pair became the first to compete in an all-women’s main event in the Middle East. Entitled “Equal Measures”, the event marked a huge feat for women in wrestling, also cementing the first-ever women’s match in Dubai itself.

Windsor and Morgan currently serve as primary faces of Pro-Wrestling EVE, a longstanding all-women’s promotion based in the United Kingdom. Both made their returns to professional wrestling last year at the company’s Wrestle Queendom 4 show. Windsor went on to become the “Ace Of Eve”, winning the 2022 She-1 series earlier this year.

Morgan and Windsor spoke with Cultaholic ahead of their appearance, sharing their excitement for the opportunity. “We both want the same thing. We both want to go out there and tear the absolute house down,” Morgan attested.

Liv Morgan To Guest Star On ‘Chucky’

Former Smackdown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan will guest star in an upcoming episode of the USA Network’s Chucky series. Although her exact role is unknown, Morgan will appear in the fourth episode of season two on October 26th, titled “Death On Denial”.

In a recent interview with USA Insider, Morgan revealed how her guest appearance came into fruition. “So I watched Season 1, and I was so excited for it — I loved it so much, loved the writing. Just seeing Chucky in modern-day society doing the same Chucky things he did when I was growing up,” Morgan recalled.

“So I just went to WWE and I was like, ‘Do you think there’s any opportunity for me in any capacity? Because I’d love to be involved in any way, shape, or form.’ And so they reached out, and I was actually put in touch with Don Mancini, the show’s creator — he’s been so gracious to me. We jumped on a Zoom and he was able to write me into the script. It’s been almost a pipe dream come true. It started with an ask that turned into something unbelievable.”
