Danny Limelight On His Dream Opponent: I’d Be Dumb Not To Say Roman Reigns

Danny Limelight wants to face Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Limelight is a world-traveled wrestler, having competed for AEW, AAA, IMPACT Wrestling, MLW, and New Japan Strong. While he has worked for all of these promotions, he would like to get to WWE one day, and he’d be interested in a match with “The Tribal Chief.”

In an interview with PWMania.com, Limelight was asked to name the wrestler who’s on the top of his list of dream opponents, and he named Reigns. He complimented the champion and stated that The Bloodline as a whole is doing great work.

“I’d be dumb to not say Roman Reigns. Let’s be honest right now, that’s the only company I’ve never wrestled for. Well, Ring of Honor either. But so I guess I would say Roman Reigns. That’s my pick. I’ve never wrestled at WWE, but he’s the guy who’s been the guy for like the last two and a half, three years probably now. And I think he’s doing some amazing work. I’m really good friends with Sefa, or, Solo now. I just love what that whole group is doing. Even with Sami there, I think it’s great. I think it’s great television. There, that would be my pick.”

Outside of WWE, Limelight expressed his interest in a match with NJPW star Will Ospreay, potentially at NJPW’s upcoming shows in New York on October 27-28.

“If I was thinking of like, a match that could happen right now, not fantasy booking, a match that that can happen right now, me and Ospreay. I think me and Ospreay in New York City for New Japan Strong would be fire. That would be somebody else’s name that I would throw out there.”
