AEW Rampage Results (10/14/22): Ethan Page Takes On Isiah Kassidy

All Elite Wrestling will deliver an action-packed episode of AEW Rampage on October 14.

In the matches, Moxley and Castagnoli will face off against The Butcher & The Blade, Nyla Rose will face off against Anna Jay, and Ethan Page will take on Isiah Kassidy. If Kassidy should win, then Private Party will be freed from their contracts that The Firm recently acquired. However, if Page wins, then The Firm will also gain the contract of Matt Hardy, essentially locking the group into The Firm’s control.

Elsewhere in the night, FTR & Shawn Spears will team up to take on Brian Cage & the Gates of Agony in a huge “The Pinnacle vs. The Embassy” trios match.

The results are as follows:

Match 1: Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli) defeats The Butcher & The Blade via pinfall

In the opening match to tonight’s AEW Rampage, it was the duo of Moxley and Castagnoli that walked out with a win. Towards the end of the match, Moxley hit his finisher on The Blade, while Castagnoli also hit his finisher on The Butcher simultaneously for the win.

After the match, Moxley hyped up his upcoming title match with Hangman Page on next week’s episode of Dynamite.

  • Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee are interviewed by Renee Paquette backstage. Swerve thinks recent events are funny, but Lee wants to know why they’d need to cheat to beat anyone.

  • Renee Paquette interviews the Dark Order, as 10 vs. Rush is announced for next week. They all put their hands in, and one more hand is shown. The camera zooms out, and Stu Grayson has returned.

  • Chris Jericho and the Jericho Appreciation Society has an in-ring promo, but Dalton Castle cuts them off. Castle challenges Jericho to a title match, and it’s set for Tuesday’s Dynamite.

Match 2: Nyla Rose defeats Anna Jay via pinfall

In a relatively quick match, Rose dominated Jay, catching her in mid-air late in the match and hitting the Beast Bomb to win.

Match 3: Ethan Page defeats Isiah Kassidy via pinfall

In a match that had some huge stipulations, it was Page that walked out on top. Page put away Kassidy late with the Ego’s Edge, and also secured the fact that The Firm now own the contract of Matt Hardy in the process.

Match 4: Shawn Spears & FTR defeat Brian Cage & Gates of Agony via pinfall

The match came to an end after Spears landed a pinfall after hitting a Death Valley Driver. Maria Kanellis and The Kingdom then debuted, challenging FTR to a match.

Things broke down even further after that, as The Embassy and Kingdom then began attacking the members in the ring, forcing Samoa Joe and Wardlow to run out for the save as the show ended.
