AEW Dynamite Viewership Decreases On 10/12, Demo Slightly Drops

AEW Dynamite viewership saw a decrease on October 12, which featured Orange Cassidy defeating PAC to become the new All-Atlantic Champion.

According to Showbuzz Daily, 983,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.32 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was down from the October 5 episode when 1,038,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also slightly dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.33 rating in the same demographic.

With the decrease in viewership, AEW Dynamite took the fourth spot in the demographic among cable originals overall last night. They were defeated by Fox Sport’s coverage of the MLB Playoffs and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a show that continues to be their biggest rival from week to week, according to Showbuzz Daily.

This week’s show kicked off with the All Elite Wrestling debut of Renee Paquette, who interviewed Christian Cage before Jungle Boy took on Luchasaurus. The main event of the show saw Orange Cassidy defeat PAC to become the new AEW All-Atlantic Champion.
