DX Brought Back The Actual Jeep From The WCW Invasion On 10/10 WWE RAW

Sean Waltman, also known as X-Pac, says D-Generation X incorporated one of their most memorable segments into their appearance on the October 10 episode of WWE RAW.

DX is one of the most legendary stables in WWE history. The group was prominently featured throughout the Attitude Era, and Waltman, along with Trople H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, and Chyna, delivered some classic moments. One unforgettable night in 1998, DX tried to invade WCW at the height of the Monday Night Wars; the stablemates rode a jeep right up to the opposing company’s doorstep.

Speaking on the October 12 episode of WWE’s The Bump, Waltman confirmed that when DX rode into the arena on Monday for their 25h Anniversary Celebration, the group used the same Jeep as the attempted invasion of WCW.

“I don’t know if a lot of people that were watching the other night realized that that’s the actual Jeep that we invaded WCW in 20-some years ago,” Waltman said.

Guest host Johnny Gargano wondered what would have happened if Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, who were later revealed to be on the other side of the door, opened up, given their friendships with the members of DX. Waltman noted that they probably would have hugged each other.

“If it was Kevin and Scott, I think we would have all hugged each other, honestly,” Waltman. “I can’t even imagine, like honestly. I guess we can. We can all imagine what would have happened. Thank god it didn’t [laughs].”

When asked why WCW didn’t open the door and blocked great television from happening, Waltman noted that sometimes you get caught with your pants down.

“I tell you what, when you get caught with your pants down in situations, it’s hard to think like that,” he said. “Afterwards, it’s easy to look back and go, oh I should have done this. Well, I had to pull my pants up first.”
