Matt Cardona Match And More Set For 10/13 IMPACT Wrestling

Matt Cardona will be in action on the October 13 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.

Thursday’s show will feature the fallout of the Bound For Glory pay-per-view, and the former IMPACT Digital Media Champion will face Bhupinder Gujjar in a singles match. Cardona competed in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound For Glory; this marked his return to the IMPACT ring after he suffered a torn bicep in May. Following his recovery, he has been competing for various companies since NWA 74 on August 27.

As for Gujjar, he previously feuded with Cardona’s tag team partner Brian Myers, who currently holds the Digital Media Championship.

Plus, following Bound For Glory, IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander will kick off the show. He successfully defended the title against Eddie Edwards at the pay-per-view. Bully Ray, who won the Call Your Shot Gauntlet, saved him from a beatdown by Honor No More at the end of the show.

IMPACT subsequently announced a few more matches for the show. Tasha Steelz will battle Killer Kelly in a No Disqualification Match. Plus, several of the top competitors in the X-Division will collide; Trey Miguel will clash with Kenny King, Alex Zayne, Black Taurus, Laredo Kid, and Yuya Uemura. Elsewhere on the show, the Death Dollz (Taya Valkyrie, Rosemary, and Jessicka) will take on VXT (Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green) and Gisele Shaw.
