MJF Gets Offended When People Pretend The Miz Isn’t A Great Professional Wrestler

MJF doesn’t understand the fans who say The Miz isn’t a great professional wrestler. He also believes he shares an inseparable bond with Happy Corbin.

All Elite Wrestling‘s MJF was a recent guest on Notsam Wrestling to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about his in-ring ability, Friedman said people used to say he could only talk on the microphone and was often compared to The Miz, but now he’s in a class all by himself.

“I think there was a period of time in my career where there truly were fans out there; now they’re all gone. But there truly were fans out there that thought this was the only thing I can do,” MJF said. “Now I’ve proven it time and time again. And even though people forget, the second the bell rings, they go Oh, yeah, shit. Yea, he’s one of the best in the ring in all of professional wrestling.

“I think the first time, people went, Oh, okay; got it was The Jungle Boy match. And I think after that, the perception of that went away like the weird Miz lite thing that people used to say. And it was funny; I upgraded. I went from EC3 comparisons. And then I upgraded to Miz comparisons. And now I’m just MJ f*cking F. Now I honestly get offended when people pretend that Miz Isn’t this great professional wrestler because he is. But whatever.”

MJF also offered high praise to SmackDown’s Happy Corbin and teased that he would love to tag with him at some point in the future.

“Love Happy Corbin. LOVE! He’s a great guy. The Corbster is a great guy,” MJF said. “It’s an inseparable bond. I just think mutual respect. And like I said, and I’ve said it in interviews constantly. If you are not watching every product out there available, then you can’t be the best version of yourself, and then you won’t make the most amount of money.

“Corbin is a guy that understands that. So he watched my product. He saw me. I watched his product. I saw him, and we both went, yep! That guy gets it. It’s that simple. I feel one day, somehow, me and him will share a ring together. I think maybe even tag. Who’s to say? Will that time be coming up soon, shortly? Who’s to say?”
