AEW Dynamite Viewership Increases On 10/5, Demo Drops Slightly

AEW Dynamite viewership saw an increase on October 5, which featured Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara taking on Bryan Danielson and Daniel Garcia.

According to Showbuzz Daily, 1,038,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.33 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was up from the September 28 episode when 990,000 viewers tuned in. The demo slightly dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.34 rating in the same demographic.

 

With the increase in viewership, AEW Dynamite took the second spot in the demographic among cable originals overall last night. They were defeated by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a show that continues to be their biggest rival from week to week, according to Showbuzz Daily.

This week’s show kicked off with the in-ring return of MJF who defeated Wheeler Yuta of The Blackpool Combat Club. The main event of the show saw Ring of Honor World Champion Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara defeat Bryan Danielson and Ring of Honor Pure Champion Daniel Garcia.
