Saraya gets physical for the first time on AEW Dynamite.
During the October 5 edition of AEW Dynamite, Willow Nightingale, Athena, and Toni Storm defeated Penelope Ford, Serena Deeb, and Jamie Hayter. Before the bout, Britt Baker cut a backstage promo where she claimed doctors have not cleared Saraya to compete in AEW.
After the trios match, Saraya looked to put rumors to rest when she came face-to-face with Baker in the ring. Saraya threw several punches, which led to a brawl breaking out among the other competitors as Saraya and Baker continued throwing hands. When Rebel was left all alone in the ring, Saraya delivered a kick to wrap up the segment.

The in-ring status of Saraya has been the biggest question since her AEW arrival at Grand Slam. Until this segment, Tony Khan told media to keep tuning in to learn more about Saraya’s future.
Speaking to Connor Casey of Comicbook.com, Khan said, “I will, at some point, for sure address that and I think we’ll find out more about what Saraya is going to do in AEW, but that’s not really something I could answer here. But I think keep watching Dynamite tonight, Rampage on Fridays and you’re going to find out more about what Saraya is going to do in AEW.”
