WWE Hires Former Marvel Writer As Director Of Longterm Creative

WWE has hired a Director of Longterm Creative.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select first reported the news that writer Rob Fee will start with the company full-time after he signed for the role this week. He has worked as a horror writer in the past, and he has also penned comics for Spider-Man, the Avengers, and Daredevil. Additionally, he was the head writer on multiple Disney shows.

WWE has added an interesting name to their employ, in an equally interesting spot.

Sapp notes that Lee pitched a movie related to The Fiend at one point before Bray Wyatt got released, a factor that was said to have resonated with WWE higher-ups. Sapp cited sources who noted that Fee has been working on the direction and production of the QR codes, and the messages attached to them, in recent weeks on WWE TV. Sources noted that Fee is very familiar with the product, as he’s a longtime follower of the business.

Lee confirmed the role on his LinkedIn profile and commented on the news in a post; he wrote, “Well this is the most excited I’ve ever been to post on LinkedIn. This is my absolute dream job and the entire team is fantastic. If you think it’s been wild so far, just wait.”
