Hangman Page will be in action on the October 7 episode of AEW Dynamite.
On the September 30 episode of AEW Rampage, Page made the save when RUSH and Andrade El Idolo attacked John Silver and Alex Reynolds after “El Toro Blanco” defeated “Johnny Hungee”. Hangman cleared the ring and dropped Jose the Assistant before he stared RUSH down to close the show.
AEW president Tony Khan subsequently announced that Page will face RUSH on Wednesday’s episode, which will mark the three-year anniversary edition of AEW Dynamite. Page will challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship on the October 18 episode, so he’ll aim to gain more momentum with a win on Wednesday. Hangman won the title shot by last eliminating the former ROH World Champion in the Grand Slam Golden Ticket Battle Royale on AEW Rampage: Grand Slam.
