KAIRI, formerly known as Kairi Sane in WWE, will have a chance to become the inaugural IWGP Women’s Champion.
STARDOM has confirmed that KAIRI will compete in the tournament for the title; she has been given a first-round bye. In the semifinals, she will face the winner of Ava White vs. “Alpha Female” Jazzy Gabbert.
The tournament finals will be held at NJPW X STARDOM Historic X-Over on November 20.

KAIRI has been sidelined since August; she tested positive for COVID-19 and was forced to miss subsequent shows. She hasn’t wrestled since STARDOM’s 5STAR Grand Prix event on July 31.
