Brody King can’t resist the appeal of Auntie Anne’s pretzels.
Hardlore‘s Colin Young and Bo Leuders welcomed Brody King during a Knotfest session, and the trio discussed King’s recent history with Darby Allin in All Elite Wrestling. King and his House of Black stablemate Malakai Black attacked Allin outside of the ring on multiple occasions, including a powerbomb through a table at San Diego Comic-Con. One infamous segment that also took place during their feud saw King attack Allin during an autograph signing at a Seattle-area mall.
After pointing out the humor in the fact that Brody flew to Seattle to beat up Darby Allin despite both of them living in Atlanta, God’s Hate bandmate Colin Young asked if he still got a pretzel from Auntie Anne’s after the attack.
“You know I did, baby! I gotta get that pretzel,” King stated.
Asked if it’s his favorite mall snack, King said he feels obligated to get a pretzel any time he’s in a mall.
“It’s a tight [vote], but I do love a Cinnabon,” King explained, “but if I’m in a mall, I instantly crave a soft pretzel.”
His go-to pretzel between sweet or savory?
“I like both but with pretzels, it’s always ‘give me the salt,’” King added.
Brody King said he stopped to use the bathroom at a truck stop recently and the facility had a McDonald’s, an Auntie Anne’s and a Dunkin’ Donuts.
“What more do you need? When you’re on tour, that is the oasis,” King said. “That is God actually loving you.”
The fast food discussion didn’t stop there, however, as Brody King also shared that he is a Taco Bell man.
“I like to Live Mas,” King stated. “Taco Bell order — chicken quesadilla, beefy 5-layer burrito and two cheesy gordita crunches. Sometimes I just need a Nachos Bell Grande. Extra beans, extra cheese, woooo! I’m over the moon.”
House of Black’s Brody King and Buddy Matthews will face off with Sting and Darby Allin in a no disqualification match at AEW Rampage: Grand Slam on September 23.
