In-Ring Segment: Damage CTRL
Bayley drives Io Sky and Dakota Kai to the ring on what looks like a modified golf cart. A pyro display goes off and streamers fly as they enter the ring. This is a celebration of epic proportions… by WWE standards, of course. Bayley tells the San Deigo crowd that their Bay Area hero is here. Bayley says they are going to celebrate. The crowd showers Bayley and Co with boos. Sky thanks Bayley in Japanese. Bayley says there is no need for thanks.

Kai says they run this division and this division no longer needs the likes of Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and Bianca Belair. The crowd whats Kai mercilessly. Bayley gloats over her pinfall on Belair. Bianca Belair, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss inturupt. Belair notes they weren’t going to crash their party but they had to keep running their mouths. Belair says they are going to teach Damage CTRL some respect.

Bayley calls Belair too impulsive. They will fight when Bayley says she is ready to and that isn’t tonight. Bayley says Bliss and Asuka shouldn’t even be out here. Bayley craps on Alexa for being a shell of herself. Bliss wants Bayley tonight. Sky and Kai leave the ring. Bayley charges in and gets decked by Bliss. Sky and Kai pull Bayley out of the ring.
Kevin Owens vs. Austin Theory
Before the bell rings Theory knocks Owens off the apron. Owens is slow to get to his feet. The referee asks Owens if he can continue. Owens tells the referee to ring the bell. The referee obliges. Owens double legs Theory and lands a few strikes. Theory forces Owens into the corner. Owens knocks Theory to the mat. Running senton by Owens. Theory rolls out of the ring. Owens follows. Theory sends Owens into the announce desk.
Theory trips Owens on the apron. Owens hits the apron with a thud. Theory pulls Owens partially off the apron and hits a hangman’s neck breaker. After the break, Theory works over Owens. Owens fires up and lands a lariat for a near fall. Theory escapes a pop-up powerbomb. Owens tries a Stunner. Theory avoids that. Owens avoids the ATL and superkick Theory.

Owens hits a senton atomico but Theory kicks out. Owens goes up top. Theory cuts him off. Owens and Theory trade punches up top. Owens pushes Theory off the top and tries a double jump moonsault. Theory moves out of the way. Modified Ushigorshi by Theory. Owens kicks out. Theory tries to grab the MITB briefcase but it’s gone. Johnny Gargano is standing at ringside holding it. Owens superkicks Theory and hits the pop-up powerbomb for the win.
Winner- Kevin Owens
After the match, Gargano drops the MITB briefcase on Theory.
Backstage, Riddle says he’s not done with Rollins by a long shot. Tonight he’s going to help his bro Rey Mysterio with his problems with The Judgement Day.
