This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite dealt with some massive fallout from AEW All Out, and next week’s episode looks to continue a tournament that began tonight.
Fresh off of his victory against “Hangman” Adam Page tonight in the newly announced Grand Slam Tournament of Champions, Bryan Danielson will now face off against Chris Jericho in a huge All Out rematch with big implications.
The winner of that match will then go on to the finals of the tournament and face off for the AEW World Championship at AEW Dynamite’s Grand Slam episode on September 21, 2022.
Elsewhere in the night, Jon Moxley will face off against the winner of Friday’s match between Sammy Guevara and Darby Allin in his own semi-finals match. Like Jericho and Danielson, the winner of that match will then move on to the finals, with a huge opportunity for the title in front of them.
