Bryan Danielson is one step closer to the AEW World Championship.
During the September 7 episode of AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson beat Hangman Page in a wild card match to qualify for the AEW World Championship tournament of champions. As a result, Danielson will now face Chris Jericho in a semi-finals match next week on Dynamite in Albany, New York.

On the other end of the bracket, Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara will air on this Friday’s Rampage with the winner advancing to face Jon Moxley on the September 14 episode. As noted, the winners of those matches will compete for the vacant AEW World Championship at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam on September 21.
