Report: Christian Cage Injury Led To Changing All Out Match With Jungle Boy

Christian Cage is reportedly dealing with an injury that affected his match at AEW All Out on Sunday.

According to a report from F4WOnline.com, Christian Cage is dealing with an undisclosed injury. Fightful also confirmed Christian was injured, with F4W noting that it was severe enough to rewrite the match the way it was booked on PPV.

As seen on the broadcast, Christian Cage entered the arena wearing a large brace on his right arm. The injury was initially explained in storyline after Jungle Boy attacked him on the August 17 episode of Dynamite. The match itself lasted less than a minute, as “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry was attacked by Luchasaurus on the ramp. Luchasaurus chokeslammed Perry on the stage and powerbombed him through a table before placing him in the ring. Once the bell rang, Christian speared Perry and hit the Killswitch for the quick win.

It’s unclear how long Christian will miss due to the injury. WrestleZone will continue to update the situation as more information is learned.
