Another New Trial Date Set In Lawsuit Over Brian Christopher’s Death

Over a year later since the original date, the trial over Brian Christopher’s death has been moved back again.

It was back in July 2018 when Grandmaster Sexay (Brian Christopher Lawler) attempted suicide while in jail and was rushed to a medical facility where he passed away shortly thereafter.

Lawler filed a lawsuit against the town as a result of the death which happened while he was in their custody due to a DUI arrest. The COVID-19 pandemic moved the trial back numerous times and yet again another new date has been set for the trial.

PWInsider reports that a new date of November 7, 2022 has been set. Jerry Lawler is seeking $3 million in damages plus additional compensatory damages if the court sees fit to award them. Lawler alleged Brian was never provided with any sort of treatment while incarcerated.
