Happy Corbin‘s luck has taken a turn in recent weeks, but his fortune might be changing.
The former King of the Ring winner has been on a losing streak, and his latest defeat came on the September 2 episode of WWE SmackDown. Hoping to get back on track, he issued an open challenge, and Shinsuke Nakamura accepted. Despite Corbin’s best effort, “The King of Strong Style” scored the victory. After the bout, Corbin was clearly disheartened.
Later in the show, he was walking backstage when a limo with horns on it pulled up to him. The person within the vehicle asked, “What happened to you?” This mystery man told Corbin to get in, and he did. The voice seemingly belonged to WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield, also known as JBL, but he didn’t appear on the screen before the limo drove away.
