Tony Khan responds to criticism of The Trustbusters’ push.
In recent weeks, the group, which features Ariya Daivari, Parker Boudreaux, Slim J, and new addition Sonny Kiss, has become a featured act on AEW programming. Boudreaux made his AEW TV debut on the August 12 edition of AEW Rampage. This week, Daivari, Boudreaux, and Slim J will compete in a first-round bout on the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament, and Khan has fired back at a tweet about the stable.
In response to a message that one viewer had no idea what they were watching in AEW anymore, Khan responded that he got similar reactions when he first started pushing Daniel Garcia and 2point0 in 2021, as well as The Acclaimed in 2020.
Coming less than 48 hours off of maybe the best @AEWonTV show we’ve ever done out of a few hundred + given it’s an #AEWRampage Friday, I feel emboldened to point out that in 2021, I got very similar reactions for strapping the TV rocket to Garcia/2.0, and in 2020 to The Acclaimed

Daivari also commented on the aforementioned tweet, noting that AEW Rampage drew its highest viewership number since April last week, when the group was featured throughout the show.
Hi Josh Nason! After last week's #AEWRampage reported its highest viewership since April, we would like to extend an invite to you to join the #TrustBusters! We want to level you up financially so we can get you the laser treatments for that gummy smile! I know a dentist! https://t.co/hNS25wYliD
