Karrion Kross And Scarlett Discuss Their Return To WWE: Triple H Is The Best Boss We’ve Ever Had

Triple H is the best boss that Karrion Kross and Scarlett have ever worked for, which made their decision to come back to WWE an easy one.

Karrion Kross and Scarlett were the most recent guests on WWE After The Bell with Corey Graves to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about what it was like to make their return to WWE earlier this month on SmackDown, Scarlett admitted she was nervous about whether she would still feel the butterflies or not after being away from WWE for so long.

“The thing I was nervous about. I was nervous that I wasn’t going to feel those butterflies anymore,” Scarlett revealed. “Because I’ve become almost too peaceful and content in not being there that I just going through day by day. I’m like, I love wrestling. I don’t need it to make me happy because, at one point, my identity was completely associated with my career like that was everything about it. So I was most worried when I found out. I’m like, am I gonna feel that? And Oh, my gods. Everything’s back, like rushing in. And it’s just as special as the very first time I ever had my first match. So it was perfect. It was amazing.”

Kross also discussed the return, saying it was hard to want something so bad and then be forced to accept that it was no longer a reality following their initial release.

“It’s really hard to find the words, man. To want something so bad, and then have to accept that’s not a reality anymore, and then they get a call one day out of the blue and be offered everything you were striving for. It’s pretty incredible,” Karrion Kross said. “I remember my first match back on the indies after I was released; I was very worried about what was going to happen. Going into a small room after working giant arenas with WWE, whether that was going to voluntary turn on when I heard the music, and I was on stage, and it did. Even with a small group of people in a small venue set in a casino in Vegas. It turned on, and I was like, okay, I still love this. And it didn’t have to do with the bells and the whistles, the smoke and mirrors, and all the people like I still love to do this. I still love to entertain anybody, whether it’s a few people in the audience or it’s a few 1000, and then you magnify that feeling in the arena. Oh my god. It was awesome. It was just awesome. And just to see everybody again, it was a really good feeling.”

Scarlett went on to say that Triple H is the best boss they’ve ever worked for and that they trust them with their characters and storylines.

“It was the easiest decision too because we talked about what if we get this opportunity, what if we do this, this is how we’re going to do things,” Scarlett said. “We’re going to stick to it. We’re actually doing things on our terms. So it’s funny when Hunter called us. He was the best boss we ever had, so it was a complete no-brainer. It was just like no other company has ever compared to it. So we trust him. We definitely trust him with our characters and their storylines. So it’s just it’s absolutely perfect. I always felt respected and heard by Hunter, even more so now.”
