The tournament for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship continued on the August 15 episode of WWE RAW, as a third team advanced to the next round.
In a first-round bout, Asuka and Alexa Bliss faced Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop. A.S.H and Asuka started the bout, and “The Empress of Tomorrow” gained the upper hand. She and Bliss double-teamed their opponents. The two teams continued to go back and forth until, at the end of a hard-fought bout, Asuka made Doudrop tap out.
After the match, IYO Sky, Dakota Kai, and Bayley confronted Asuka, Bliss, and Bianca Belair. The two trios will face off at WWE Clash at the Castle.

Due to their win on Monday, Bliss and Asuka will battle SKY and Kai in the next round. The latter duo qualified by beating Tamina and Dana Brooke last week. On the other side of the bracket, Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah moved on by defeating Shotzi and Xia Li on WWE SmackDown. The fourth spot in the semifinal round will be determined on SmackDown this week, when Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark face Sonya Deville and Natalya.
