Ronda Rousey Returns On 8/12 WWE SmackDown, Pays Her Fine And Attacks A Security Guard

Ronda Rousey can afford to be “The Baddest Woman on the Planet.”

Previously, WWE suspended Rousey indefinitely after she attacked a referee at SummerSlam, where she unsuccessfully challenged Liv Morgan for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Rousey was enraged after the official missed the sight of Morgan tapping out while he counted the pin on Rousey, whose shoulders were down while she had an arm-bar locked in. She was also fined “an undisclosed amount” for her actions.

Rousey came to the ring on the August 12 episode of WWE SmackDown and carried a bag with her. She emptied the bag, which was full of cash, and stated that being “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” is expensive, but she can afford it. She noted that this incident won’t be the last time she gets fined, so she doubled the amount of money she owed to show that she didn’t care.

Security officials came to the ring, and Rousey attacked one before the group escorted her to the back. Shayna Baszler came to the stage and told her that things don’t work like that around here. Rousey responded by saying that Baszler used to be a killer before she walked away.

Baszler then entered the ring for the contract signing with her title match with Morgan. They will collide at WWE Clash at the Castle. Morgan stated that Baszler is a knock-0ff Rousey, and she’ll beat her, just like she beat the former champion twice. Baszler proceeded to brutally attack Morgan’s injured arm, but the fan-favorite ended the segment standing tlal after she dropped Baszler with a bulldog through a table.
