On August 9, the NJPW G1 Climax continued with a fourteenth night of action from Hiroshima Sun Plaza Hall in Hiroshima, Japan.
The main event of the show, which aired on NJPW World, was a clash between KENTA and Tetsuya Naito. Elsewhere on the card, Lance Archer battled JONAH.
