Backstage, Sami Zayn knocks on Roman Reigns’ locker room. Jimmy and Jey walk out. Zayn and Jimmy have a cool handshake. Zayn tries to shake with Jey but Jey looks at him like he has 17 heads. Zayn asks about Heyman. Jimmy says he is home resting after getting F5’d last week. Zayn wants to speak to Reigns. Jey tells him it’s not a good time. Jimmy tells Zayn he’ll text him.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Ludwig Kaiser w/Gunther
Kaiser and Nakamura trade submission holds. Kaiser knocks Nakamura into the corner. Gunther barks orders as Kaiser stomps Nakamura in the corner. Nakamura fights out of it. Good vibrations by Nakamura. Nakamura lays Kaiser on the top rope and hits a running knee. Nakamura runs into a modified flapjack by Kaiser.
After the break, Nakamura tries the Kinshasa but Kaiser counters with a nasty European uppercut. Kaiser works over Nakamura. Wrist-clutch suplex by Kaiser. Kaiser sets up a complete shot but Nakamura turns it into an armbar. Kaiser kicks his way out of it. Nakamura misses one kick but catches Kaiser with his other foot on the way down. Kinshasa by Nakamura for the win.
Winner- Shinsuke Nakamura
After the match, Gunther gets in the ring and faces off with Nakamura. Nakamura tells Gunther to come on! Nakamura is now the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship.
