RAW Superstar Bayley is ready for chapter four of her WWE career alongside IYO SKY and Dakota Kai.
Bayley was the latest guest on WWE After the Bell with Corey Graves to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about referring to this part of her WWE career as chapter four, Bayley explained the thought process behind that.
“I believe I am in more control,” Bayley said. “I feel that I am leading these girls, IYO [Sky] and Dakota [Kai], and luckily these are two girls that actually want to work with me and that want my guidance and want to learn from my experiences in the past, however many years on RAW and SmackDown. So I feel like I have a lot on my shoulders with that, but I’m in control of it, and I can get them to where they want to be, and they can do the same for me. I see this as another chapter in my career because I see NXT as my first chapter. I see the pandemic as the second chapter, and then I see my injury as a whole different chapter of its own. And this is just chapter four to me.
“It sounds cheesy, but it’s just a combination of all of those together. That’s really — I know mentally, I’m at my absolute best. I see things in a different way after being away for so long. I see things that a lot of the girls there don’t, and I think my purpose in wrestling is very different than a lot of the women on TV right now. I think my purpose is to bring people like IYO and Dakota and put them where they’re supposed to be.”
