WWE Signs Several Athletes From WrestleMania Tryouts In Dallas

It appears that Valerie Loureda wasn’t the only athlete signed from the WWE tryouts that were held in the Dallas area during WrestleMania 38 weekend.

According to the Dallas Morning News, more than a dozen athletes have been signed to WWE based on these tryouts.

The most notable signing was announced last month in the form of former Bellator fighter Valerie Loureda. But we now have new names that have been signed, including:

  • Lexie Amrhein, who is Baylor’s 2020 national champion in acrobatics and tumbling
  • Houston Miller, who played defensive end for Texas Tech
  • Tracy Hancock, who was a former American Olympian in wrestling

WWE has told the Dallas Morning News that “several others are in different points in the process to start with the company” and confirmed that they had signed more than 20 people from the WrestleMania tryouts alone.

Since the WrestleMania tryouts were such a massive success for the company, they’ll be holding another set of tryouts this week in Nashville for SummerSlam.
