TMZ Sports reports Talati Polamalu, who is the nephew of Troy Polamalu, is trying out for WWE. Talati, who is a rising senior offensive lineman at Georgetown, is part of the WWE tryouts in Nashville during SummerSlam week.

“I do this for my fat kids back home. All the ones that are picked on because you’re fat,” said Polamalu. “Look at me. You can do this. You can do whatever you want. You just gotta put the work in.”

Talati, whose aunt is WWE star Tamina Snuka, is a rising senior offensive lineman at Georgetown, while Troy was a legendary safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

At the tryout, Triple H, who was recently named the head of WWE creative, former WWE Champion Big E, and Paul Heyman are scouting talent.

Over the years, plenty of football players have successfully transitioned and thrived as wrestlers. The Rock, Roman Reigns, Goldberg, and Big E are just a few of many examples. Im December 2021, WWE established its Next In Line (NIL) program to help collegiate athletes potentially enter the world of sports entertainment.
