Liv Morgan is excited about the fact that Triple H is leading WWE creative now.
WWE’s hierarchy has drastically changed over the past few days; Vince McMahon retired on July 22, and Triple H was named as the new head of creative on July 25.
Fightful broke the news about Triple H’s new position shortly before Morgan’s interview with The Mirror. When asked about the situation, the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion expressed her excitement.
“We’re excited,” said Morgan. “We’re in great hands.”
The fan-favorite star noted that the changes were sudden and shocking, but she’s looking forward to the new era.
“We were all shocked,” said Morgan. “And it felt sudden. But we all owe so much to Vince. So if he felt like it was time, then it was time. We’re also excited to be working with Stephanie and Nick [Khan, the other co-CEO). Stephanie was born into this business, so there’s literally no one better for the job than her.
“We’re all so excited and we’re just ready to go to work. We’re all just ready to take it to the next level.”
Triple H reportedly spoke at the talent meeting ahead of the July 25 episode of WWE RAW, and it is said to have gone well. More information is available here.
