Chris Jericho is a bit banged up.
On the July 20 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jericho faced Eddie Kingston in a Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match. As expected, the bout was absolutely brutal, and “The Mad King” used the barbed wire to make “The Wizard bleed. In the end, thanks to plenty of interference, Jericho emerged victorious; with his arm wrapped in barbed wire, he hit the Judas Effect and pinned Kingston.
The next day, AEW’s official Twitter page posted a picture of Jericho. The image shows that his face is quite bruised, and he has a bandage on his nose. In the post, EW noted that Jericho suffered a broken nose.
Despite winning last night's Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match on #AEWDynamite: #FyterFest Night 3, along with cuts and bruises, @IAmJericho also suffered a broken nose at the hands of @MadKing1981 #EddieKingston. Despite the victory, it seems like Jericho will be feeling the effects of his battle with Kingston for the next several days.
